Our History and Mission

The Women to Children Foundation (WOCHFO) was born from a deep-rooted commitment to solving the socio-economic crises facing the Njombe and Makete Districts.

Our journey began in 2012 following scholarly research that revealed the devastating impact of the 1990s HIV/AIDS epidemic, which left up to 93% of vulnerable children orphaned and forced 70% of affected families into extreme poverty.
